Editorial Policy

Our editorial standards

NutraVerify is committed to publishing accurate, evidence-based content that respects the reader's time and intelligence. This page documents the standards every article on this site is held to.

1. Independence

Our editorial conclusions are never for sale. We do not accept payment, gifts or sponsorships in exchange for favorable coverage. Affiliate partnerships exist on this site, but they are disclosed (see our affiliate disclosure) and have zero influence on what we recommend or criticize.

2. Sourcing

Health and nutrition claims are based on peer-reviewed research, position statements from established health organizations (WHO, NIH, AHA, ACSM, etc.), and clinical guidelines. We avoid relying on press releases, manufacturer-funded studies in isolation, or anecdotal testimonials as evidence.

3. Accuracy and corrections

We fact-check every article before publication. If we discover an error after publishing — or if a reader brings one to our attention — we correct it promptly and add a visible correction note. Significant updates are dated.

4. Product review process

Every supplement reviewed on NutraVerify is evaluated against the same criteria: ingredient transparency, dosage versus clinically studied amounts, manufacturing standards (cGMP, third-party testing), refund and shipping policy, real-world customer feedback patterns, and overall value compared to similar products. We publish negative findings when they apply.

5. No medical advice

We are publishers, not clinicians. Nothing on NutraVerify substitutes for personalized medical advice from a qualified healthcare provider. See our medical disclaimer.

6. Responsible language

We avoid sensational claims, "miracle cure" framing, and unrealistic before-and-after promises. We describe expected outcomes in measured, evidence-aligned terms and consistently note that supplements are accelerators, not replacements for a sound diet, exercise and sleep foundation.

7. Reader feedback

We welcome corrections, source suggestions and disagreement. Reach out via our contact page and we will review and respond.
